Client can't open DDP player
In some cases, devices with macOS can show the error message "The application HOFA DDP Player macOS.app can‘t be opened."
In these cases, the DDP Player is not labeled as an “executable file”.
This label is normally automatically active, but the Windows file system does not use it. It can be stored inside a zip file, though. Because of that, when creating the DDP Player on a Windows PC that should be usable on a macOS computer as well, it is mandatory to transfer the image as a zip file which was created with the HOFA DDP Player Maker.
Note that even after re-packing the image with a different zip tool, the player might not be working anymore on macOS.
You can find the ZIP option here by clicking on "Create Player" at the bottom right of the DDP Player Maker. A new window should appear with the option to Create the player with a zip file:
